UDAAN-Kite Flying/Making

Udaan has been introduced as part of cultural event in Encore '11. This event is particularly divided into two sub-event as Kite Making(pre-round) & Kite Flying(final-round).BBDIT expects huge participation for this event.

Pre-Round

In Kite Making contestents will be judged on their level of innovation, perfection & coordination. Selected team will be challenging in the final rounds.

It will comprise of 50 points.
Maximum 3-4 member in each group
Members have to bring all the things required in making kite such as paper sticks etc. No size limit of kites
Duration-1 hour
At least two kites should be made by each team.
Kites made will be used for the next rounds.
Any innovations such as use of colors, ribbons, light etc is entertain
Points: 10 for making 25 for innovations 10 for perfection  

 

Final-Round

Teams will be divided in two pools.Each team has to fly & cut the other pool kites. Highest point achievers will be awarded as a winner.

 

There will be two pools- pool A and pool B
Teams will be divided in two pools
Pool members will have to cut of kites of other pool members
Other requirement such as threads, charkis etc should be brought by their own.

Points:
10 points will be provided to each team  who cut the kite of other pool members kite
highest scorer will qualifed for the finals  
score will comprises of scores of kite  flying and making.
